Healthcare Academy offers a comprehensive educational activity to educate staff about the Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 assessment. It was designed in conjunction with industry thought leaders as a tool for effective interdisciplinary team training. MDS standardizes, assesses, and facilitates care management for long-term care residents. MDS 3.0 emphasizes resident interviews, ensuring the resident has a strong voice in care planning. This educational activity contains multiple components with information about planning for care, coding tips, special populations, and steps for assessments. Learners will practice their skills using a case study to code every element of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI).
