Course overview
This course will give a comprehensive overview of diabetes to help healthcare professionals better understand patients with this diagnosis. The subject matter discussed will include the differences between diabetes type I, type II, and gestational diabetes. How diabetes affects oral health, hearing, vision, the heart, the nerves, the feet, and chronic kidney disease will also be discussed. Finally, ways to manage blood sugar are analyzed.
