Course overview

Participants will be able to name three types of traumas, will be able to define Trauma Informed Care (TIC), will be able to describe three symptoms of trauma in children, will be able to name two assessment tools to identify trauma reaction in children, will be able to describe a TIC treatment facility, will be able to define resilience in children, and will be able to describe solution focused principles to assist children and family systems to move past trauma and focus on a future place when trauma is no -longer impacting daily functioning.
