I-Loc IM Fixator

Course overview

Featuring the I-Loc 3-4-5 for small breed dogs and cats, and the I-Loc 6-7-8 for standard and large breed dogs, this two-day workshop will cover principles of interlocking nailing in a variety of long bone fracture configurations, as well as the evolution of interlocking nail designs with an emphasis on the concept of angle-stable centromedullary fixation. Detailed surgical techniques for open and closed fracture fixation using the I-Loc system will be demonstrated, followed by a wet and dry laboratory with extensive hands-on fracture reduction and fixation on both small and large-sized models. A report of clinical results and expectations will conclude the laboratory.
