This is a 2-hour course designed for physical therapists to enhance their foundational knowledge in diagnostic imaging modalities for individuals with thoracolumbar pain/pathology. Prior to this course, we recommend (although it is not mandatory) that participants take the Intro to MSK Imaging course, available on-demand here. Pathologies Covered: spinal fractures, malignancies, the spectrum of disc pathology, degenerative conditions (vacuum disc, stenosis, osteophytes), spondylolisthesis, pars defects, compression fractures, inflammatory spinal conditions, and more. This course will equip each student with the knowledge required to know when a patient with thoracolumbar pain may require imaging, what types of studies & views to order, and how to perform appropriate clinical correlation of results.
