Musculoskeletal Imaging of the Hip & Pelvis (Online Self-Study)

Course overview

This is a 2-hour course designed for physical therapists to enhance their foundational knowledge in diagnostic imaging modalities for individuals with hip pain/pathology. Prior to this course, we recommend (although it is not mandatory) that participants take the Intro to MSK Imaging course, available on-demand. Pathologies covered: FAI/labral pathology, hip dysplasia, trochanteric bursitis, OA, avascular necrosis, fractures (stress/trauma - femoral neck, acetabulum, pelvic ring), osteochondromatosis, and more. This course will equip each student with the knowledge required to know when a patient with hip pain may be in need of imaging, what images to order, and how to perform appropriate clinical correlation of results.
