Course overview

This is a 2-hour course designed for physical therapists to enhance their foundational knowledge in diagnostic imaging modalities for individuals with foot, ankle and lower leg pain/pathology. Prior to this course, we recommend (although it is not mandatory) that participants take the Intro to MSK Imaging course, available on-demand. Pathologies covered: fracture/trauma, ankle ligamentous instability, ankle impingement, os trigonum, achilles pathology, bone stress injury, lisfranc injuries, OA/osteochondral lesions, plantar heel pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and more This course will equip each student with the knowledge required to know when a patient with foot, ankle and lower leg pain may be in need of imaging, what images to order, and how to perform appropriate clinical correlation of results.
