APTA - Level 1 Certified Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program

Course overview

The Certified Clinical Instructor Program offers the opportunity for physical therapist (PT) and physical therapist assistants (PTA) to gain knowledge and skills to provide clinical education experiences to PT and PTA students. Through formal presentations, small group discussions, and reflective activities, participants identify roles and responsibilities, explore and manage the learning environment, explore formative and summative assessment processes, and gain insight on legal and supervisory considerations in clinical education.
