Course overview
This course will help healthcare professionals to better understand and manage gout. Gout is an inflammatory arthritis associated with many common chronic conditions that causes severe pain and disability. Proper management can improve quality of life for individuals with gout and even reverse the course of the disease. This course will explain how to recognize and diagnose gout, how it is connected to the management of chronic disease, and how to manage gout with medications and nonpharmacological means.
