Wound dressings serve the important role of promoting wound healing while preventing additional tissue damage. However selecting the appropriate dressing from the countless available options can be a daunting and challenging task. This course overviews the goals of wound dressings and the factors that affect our wound care dressing plan. It also looks at the wide variety of dressing types and active agents available on the market. This course aims to introduce rehabilitation professionals to the goals and functions of wound dressings.
