Students will explore the history and evolution of the triune concept in chiropractic, from its Western philosophical roots through its development by D.D. Palmer, B.J. Palmer, and Ralph W. Stephenson. The course examines how early models evolved into Stephenson's triune of life and how Reggie Gold's thesis cemented the triune as central to chiropractic philosophy and identity. Students will learn how Gold's students like Strauss, Koch, and Lessard expanded the triune through critiques and integrations of logic, physics, and metaphysics.
