The Basics of EKG Tracing and Arrhythmias

Course overview

This is not meant to replace Advanced Life Support. This course is designed to help the learner understand the anatomy and physiology of the heart and the electrical conduction system. By the end of the course, the learner will be able to understand the components of an electrocardiogram tracing strip and identify some of the most common abnormal heart rhythms such as sinus, atrial, ventricular, junctional, heart blocks, ectopic and other miscellaneous rhythms.
