Parkinson's disease (PD) is a chronic, progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by motor and non-motor symptoms. Its rising prevalence and significant impact on patients, caregivers, and healthcare systems make it an important area of focus for healthcare clinicians. This course aims to enhance understanding of PD to help healthcare clinicians contribute meaningfully to a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to care. This course focuses on the recognition and management of the motor symptoms of PD. Non-motor symptoms of PD are covered in a separate course.
