Course overview
Due to the integrated nature of the business, real estate professionals are uniquely positioned to identify individuals suffering in silence. Suicide is the current epidemic our society faces, and the challenges are directly linked to our spiritual health, as well as mental health. This safety and prevention course is vital as we seek to make a positive impact throughout our community. This (3) hour block training equips agents with the ability to recognize warning signs of suicide, navigate individuals to safety and instill hope. Individuals who attend this prevention certification program are more confident in asking, discussing, and providing resources to help individuals navigate crises and/or suicidal ideations. Special attention will be given to the fundamentals of mirroring, framing, and de-escalation techniques and strategies.
