Course overview

The purpose of this seminar is to enhance the Doctor of Chiropractics knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of areas of hyper-contracted nodules within a muscle, commonly referred to as trigger points. This seminar is intended to broaden the course attendees understanding of the musculoskeletal system and to improve their ability to effectively treat patients with trigger points. This comprehensive seminar will provide an in depth analysis of muscle anatomy and physiology. Additionally, the course will explore the etiology and manifestations of trigger points and illustrate the techniques which are utilized to ameliorate and ultimately eliminate the presence and reoccurrence of trigger points that can be found throughout the musculoskeletal system.
