Course overview
This 35-hour hybrid online self-paced and live virtual course was designed for physical therapists and physical therapy assistants by providing a principles-based, evidence-informed, and date-driven approach to ACL rehabilitation and return to performance. It is designed to enhance and optimize the ACL rehabilitation process from initial injury to full return to sport and performance. Rehab professionals will walk away with confidence in their ability to design phase-by-phase ACL frameworks and programs specific to their patients, structure their exercise prescription from rehab to performance-based sessions, train their coach's eye via analyzing biomechanics and compensatory movement patterns, navigate simple and complex cases, conversations, and multiple stakeholder involvement, implement testing batteries and exit criteria through each phase and important milestones, and create a structured and individualized approach for return to practice, sport, and performance.
