Course overview
This 15-hour course for pediatric physical therapists and occupational therapists provides the education necessary for learning to administer and score the Test of Infant Motor Performance (TIMP), an assessment for infants under the age of 5 months that is used in NICUs and Early Intervention in the community-based setting. The 9 learning modules in the course on the Litmos learning platform provide instruction on validation and norming of the TIMP, administration and scoring instructions, case examples of infants with delays, and practice scoring TIMP tests. The objectives for each module are assessed by a quiz and test scoring practice from videotaped assessments. The final module of the course is a guide to encourage reflection on what has been learned and what the learner needs to do to facilitate incorporating the TIMP into evidence-based clinical practice or research with infants because further independent practice testing infants is needed to develop skill as a tester. *This listing is for the asynchronous offering of this course
