Course overview

Neuro cases can be intimidating but are not necessarily the nightmare we envision. For many common presentations, it is possible to systematically evaluate the signs, symptoms and appropriate testing needed to diagnose and manage many cases on your own or refer appropriately. In this lecture, a multi-disciplinary, referral-center optometrist discusses the most commonly encountered neuro-ophthalmic cases in a case-based approach to pathophysiology, diagnosis, monitoring and treatment.
