This course is designed to meet the requirements of the state of Florida for Domestic/Intimate Partner Violence Education and Prevention for Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy. This course is designed to inform and educate clinicians on laws, statistics and prevalence surrounding domestic/intimate partner violence for men and women. This course will also cover the cycle of abuse, power and control, as well as what clinicians can do to help with reporting, empowerment and prevention.
