Panel Discussion - Adverse Drug Actions, Reactions and Interactions
Tracking # 20-1286093
Course overview
Adverse reactions to drugs, although rare, are a cause for concern and sometimes confusion among equine veterinarians. We have assembled a panel of highly experienced veterinarians from around the world with specialisms spanning internal medicine, clinical pharmacology, anaesthesiology and emergency and critical care to exchange their experiences and knowledge of drug reactions, side-effects and drug-drug interactions. Together they will explore what can be predicted, prevented or avoided. They will debate the management of everything from idiosyncratic collapse, chronic or dose-related effects, to allergy and anaphylaxis, including life support, enhanced elimination, use of antidotes, and reporting.
