Course overview

This 12 hour LIVE continuing education course is designed to ensure therapists have the proper knowledge and skill to safely and effectively work with patients diagnosed or suspected of having Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome. Included in this course are instructions & demonstrations on how to assess the muscles of mastication and how to massage both inside (intra-orally) and outside (extra-orally) the mouth, as well as advanced anatomical concepts not covered in massage school that make sure you are working in exactly the correct location. Locations of common trigger points involved in TMJD are also discussed.
