Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy in the Treatment of Depression Impacted by Popular Culture and Social Media

Course overview

Participants will be able to name three symptoms of depression and how they are impacted by thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors, will be able to list two core principles of REBT and how they are used to assist clients to decrease depression caused by pop culture and social media, will be able to apply three practical strategies to challenge and modify irrational beliefs that decrease depression, and will be able to describe two ways to assist clients to set realistic goals using the SMART Goals that include homework assignments.
