Course overview
A significant number of people around the world experience shoulder pain in their lifetime. Shoulder pain can affect an individuals ability to participate in work social and sporting activities and their quality of life. It also has a high economic cost for society. The shoulder girdle is a complex structure consisting of four joints many muscles tendons ligaments and bursae. Conducting an effective subjective and objective assessment which considers the complexities of this region is therefore essential. This course introduces the key components of a comprehensive shoulder evaluation. This course aims to provide rehabilitation professionals with a general framework for assessing the shoulder focusing on six common conditions.
