Course overview

There was a time in history when many people believed the world was flat. However, as our understanding of the universe is evolved, we've discovered that some commonly held beliefs about how our universe functions were less then accurate. In the arena of function, we are continually discovering new truths about the way muscles move and their role in the chain reaction of human function. In this issue of the Functional Video Digest Series, Gary Gray explores econcentrics. He explains econcentrics and its critical emphasis within the realm of Function. Gary also dives into transformation zones to help in truly understanding econcentrics. Traditionally, it's been thought that certain muscles in the body have only a single function. However, we are discovering that the interactions and reactions of these muscles are more complex and exciting than originally imagined. In this edition, we will focus on how muscles really function.
