Course overview
This course gives you the clinical competence to assess and treat pediatric feeding disorders secondary to structural, sensory-based, and experience-based difficulties. At the completion of this course, you will be able to identify tongue-ties in relation to feeding difficulties and walk your clients through the recovery process. This pediatric feeding disorders course will help you think about each client's individual differences in order to best serve our clients using neurodiverse-affirming care. This course will review sensory differences in relation to feeding and evidence-based strategies to walk with your client to gain a better introspection surrounding food. Parent education is crucial when working with feeding clients. This course will give you the confidence and knowledge to appropriately guide parents on ways to support feeding progress with their children.
