Course overview
This course focuses on prenatal breastfeeding conversations within the framework of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI). Participants will develop essential skills aligned with BFHI Competency # 05, emphasizing the importance of engaging in antenatal conversations about breastfeeding to provide supportive, empathetic, and informed care. By the end of this course, RNs will be better equipped to engage in meaningful, supportive conversations with mothers, fostering optimal feeding practices that promote the health and development of newborns.
