Providing Safe Medication Assistance

Course overview

This course provides medication aides and non-licensed direct care workers with the knowledge and skills to safely assist individuals with medications. Participants will learn the difference between medication assistance and administration, the key components of medication orders and labels, and the six rights of safe medication practices.
