Course overview
Educational Objectives 1. Identify the clinical definitions of substance and opioid use disorder and the signs and symptoms associated with both conditions. 2. Identify the potential for misuse that is associated with the use of gabapentin and pregabalin. 3. Identify a treatment strategy and approach centred on the patient for those who suffer from substance use disorders and opioid use disorders. 4. Describe the steps of the medication-assisted treatment procedure as well as the drugs that are involved.
