Course overview

Description: This course Synergetic Myofascial Bodywork Intensive includes advanced myofascial techniques, joint range of motion, assisted stretching, functional movement assessments and rocking/vibration manual techniques. This work teaches massage therapists how to conserve energy and use safe body mechanics and is within the scope of practice for massage therapists as Postural/Myofascial modality. This program teaches myofascial techniques with passive/active client movement. Safe Body mechanics, anatomy and physiology, physical and postural assessments are also included in the program. Table positions taught are: prone, supine, seated and side. A short end game (end of session integration) consisting of fascial hands-on techniques with neck, seated back, and sacrum is also taught to accompany each SMB session. This is a 40-hour Live Continuing Education Course.
