Benchmarking: A Global Approach to the Musculoskeletal System & The Framework: Establishing Functional Goals

Course overview

The first part of this course will explain WHY the evidence-practice gap has grown to be a crisis, WHAT high value musculoskeletal care looks like, HOW people become fragile, and HOW they can get back to activity and gain resilience. The second part of this course will discuss HOW to pivot from medicalization of musculoskeletal pain to patient empowerment and self-management. In addition, HOW practitioner beliefs lead to over-detection, over-diagnosis, and over-treatment.
