Course overview
This 2 hour training on Alzheimers disease and related dementias equips caregivers and home health personnel with essential knowledge and practical skills to provide compassionate, effective care. Participants will learn about the types, progression, and symptoms of dementia, focusing on Alzheimer's disease, as well as strategies for communication behavir management and promoting independence in daily living activities. Designed to meet DOEA guidelines, this program enhances caregiver confidence and competence in supporting individuals with dementia.
