Course overview

This course starts with using orthopedic assessments taken from Kendalls Muscles & Testing & Function with Posture and Pain 6th edition. This course teaches the students cervical joint range of motion flexion, extension, side bending, and rotation. The course studies migraine headaches and addresses trigger points in the upper cervical region. This course addresses nerves, spine, and the muscles that can lead to chronic pain. This course will address tech neck and whiplash injuries. This course teaches hands on manual therapy skills that address the muscles of the cervical spine. There are multiple modalities used for teaching including PP visual, auditory, and hands on. This is a multidisciplinary treatment plan using Massage cupping, Myofascial Release, PNF stretching and Neuromuscular therapy or medical massage therapy.
