Course overview

In this online course students will learn to effectively monitor muscles to obtain feedback from the body and measure stress responses to various stimuli. Students will learn a protocol for balancing muscles and energy by manually stimulating neurolymphatic and neurovascular reflexes. Students will learn to work with the acupressure system to decrease stress and pain and to improve posture flexibility coordination and vitality. Some of the techniques taught in this workshop are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine while others are based on Western medicine and Applied Kinesiology. These techniques can be incorporated into many modalities or used as a standalone technique. Students are responsible for scheduling their own practice time after watching the lectures/demonstrations. Students will leave this course with competency in manual muscle testing and balancing the body's muscles and energy system. They will have the knowledge and skills to incorporate these techniques into their massage practice and be able to effectively educate their clients about self-care techniques that can be used between sessions.
