Course overview
After completing this course, the learner will be able to: Define acts of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. Identify appropriate forms of personal protective equipment and decontamination for dealing with acts of terrorism. Categorize common symptoms and treatment methods associated with exposure to or injuries caused by chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear agents. Describe syndromic surveillance and reporting procedures for acts of terrorism that involve biological agents. Summarize access and use of Federal and CDC resources for communities after the Weapon of Mass Destruction attacks.
