Course overview

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a rare disease with, with an estimated prevalence of 15-50 cases per million; however, the prevalence of pHTN in particular populations is substantially higher. Due to the progressive nature of the disease, the care and management of the PH patient is multifocal and requires a solid knowledge base of disease pathogenesis and pathophysiology. This continuing education activity is designed to provide an overview of the pathogenesis, pathophysiology and current treatment recommendations for PH.
