Course overview

An international panel of world-renowned equine reproductive and neonatal clinicians from all corners of the world will discuss both normal and abnormal findings and management of the postpartum mare and foal. Expert opinions will be shared and debated on topics including breeding management for the post-foaling mare, conditions that affect reproductive efficiency (and sometimes mortality!) of mares after foaling, as well as recognizing and managing routine and unusual conditions that afflict equine neonates. Participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences with the panel and contribute to a vibrant learning session.
