This course equips medical professionals with the knowledge and skills to recognize the impact of relationship health on overall well-being. Participants will learn to identify healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationship dynamics, recognize red flags, and understand the role of power and control in intimate partner violence (IPV). The training covers trauma-informed communication, consent (FRIES), effective screening for IPV, and best practices for responding to disclosures. By the end of the course, healthcare providers will be better prepared to support patients experiencing relationship abuse and promote healthier relationship outcomes.
