Join us for what promises to be an exciting panel discussion with an international panel of worldleading equine experts with extensive experience in equine behavior. This panel discussion will explore how we might make the lives of our clients staff and ourselves easier and safer as well as positively impacting equine welfare. Training horses is subject to many unqualified approaches and opinions. We are fortunate to have 3 of the worlds leading specialists and researchers who will offer their experiences opinions and evidence of how we should consider, prevent and approach tricky behavioral issues in horses. The focus will be on aversions to common healthcare procedures injections, clipping, eye medications etc and making horses more comfortable and accepting of veterinary care. Problems encountered with loading for transport will also be discussed. The research underlying recommended approaches will be covered as well as offering practical guidance when faced with such problematic situations. Our panelists will share tips and tricks and will welcome comments or questions from attending vets.
