0202-0000-25-135-L08-P 0202-0000-25-135-L08-T For the first time since 2018, U.S. drug related overdose deaths have decreased with an estimated 107,543 in 2023. While this decrease is promising, new problems have continued to arise with increased attention around the use of psychedelics, a continued prevalence of illicit and designer drug use, and increasing prevalence of behavioral addictions. ¿ This session will review the current state of the substance use epidemic and recent trends related to substance use and behavioral addictions.
