Course overview
Supporting residents who are angry at their peers, family or staff requires patience and understanding. Staff must also be careful to identify the causes or antecedents of the resident's anger, in order to address the situation as well as to prevent, if possible, its future re-occurrence. This webinar will provide staff with the tools necessary to identify the environmental, situational and human factor antecedents which may have contributed to the resident's anger, as well as behavioral strategies for dealing with the angry resident.
