This course will provide nurses with an understanding of how cluttered and disorganized living spaces can negatively impact both physical and mental health. From the moment we wake up until we go to bed, our environments significantly influence our daily well-being. The relationship between clutter and health is complex and multifaceted. This course will explore how clutter affects different demographics, the associated health risks, and practical strategies to help patients (and nurses!) regain control over their spaces. Upon course completion, nurses will: 1. Understand the psychological and physical health impacts of clutter and disorganized living spaces. 2. Explore how gender, age, and health status influence the perception and effects of clutter. 3. Identify specific strategies nurses can use to help patients manage clutter and reduce associated health risks.
