CHRONIC PAIN: INTEGRATIVE ACUPUNCTURE CARE, PART I

Course overview

In this course, Phillip Tan and Roshelle LeVa, two clinically experienced Acupuncturists who run a busy chronic pain clinic in a hospital, share their experience and knowledge of choosing and combing the best TCM pain management techniques from different TCM Masters. Phillip Tan has studied extensively with world-renowned acupuncturists Kiiko Matsumoto and Richard Tan, as well as overseas at the Xuan Wu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in China. Roshelle LeVa's main areas of clinical interest are stroke rehabilitation, oncology, and pain management. This course focuses on how to integrate techniques for fast and effective clinical results. In Part I of this two part course, effective acupuncture treatment protocols, tuina and trigger point techniques, and auriculotherapy for chronic pain are discussed.
