Chronic pain is one of the most commonly seen conditions in the clinic. While there are many Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques and schools of thought for treating chronic pain, the question that is most frequently debated amongst practitioners is, "Which one is the best?" In this course, Phillip Tan and Roshelle LeVa, two clinically experienced Acupuncturists who run a busy chronic pain clinic in a hospital, share their experience and knowledge of choosing and combing the best TCM pain management techniques from different TCM Masters. Phillip Tan has studied extensively with world-renowned acupuncturists Kiiko Matsumoto and Richard Tan, as well as overseas at the Xuan Wu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in China. Roshelle LeVa's main areas of clinical interest are stroke rehabilitation, oncology, and pain management. This course focuses on how to integrate techniques for fast and effective clinical results. Part II of this two part course focuses on effective acupuncture treatment protocols, muscle channel treatment, scalp, and effective acupuncture points from experience for chronic pain.
