Course overview
This session will provide an overview of the concept of targeted therapy as it applies to lung cancer. You will learn criteria that you can use in the separation of adenocarcinoma from squamous carcinoma and you will gain an understanding about why this separation is important for treatment planning. Coverage will also include a review of immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining and a paradigm for usage. You will also join discussions about the usage and limitations of cytology in lung cancer.
