Tracking # 20-1297327
Course overview
This course is a recording of a previously hosted live webinar event. Polling and question submission features are not available for this recording. Format and structure may differ from those of standard Medbridge courses. How is it that some people seem to age more slowly, live longer, or remain active later in life? Is it just luck? Are these individuals blessed with "good genes?" Science continues to ask the question about aging, "Is aging due to nature (our genes) or nurture (our lifestyle)?" A related question is now directed at our healthspan - how long can we live without disability or illness? This course provides you with practical strategies that we can choose for ourselves to effect a change in healthspan across five categories of life: physical activity, sleep, nutrition, social connection, and the health benefits of extreme experiences.
