Although every facility would like to see family involvement in the life of the resident and the life of the facility, there are times when such involvement may become more of an impediment than an enhancement. Unfortunately, challenges arise when families choose to move beyond resident support and begin instead to micromanage resident care. Learn how to work with "challenging" family members in order to generate supportive family involvement and enhance the overall quality of resident life.
