Course overview

Patients with a scoliosis diagnosis who seek therapy or medical care often present with a unique clinical presentation as compared to patients who present with traditional back pain. In order to provide effective treatment to adolescents and adults with a scoliosis diagnosis, a thorough understanding of the anatomy as well as muscle and tissue imbalances is required. This course will cover the different types of scoliosis, typical clinical presentations, research-based treatment approaches, and case studies to allow practice with clinical application.
