Course overview

Educational Objectives 1. Define Neonatal Seizures i) Differentiate neonatal seizures from seizures in other age groups. ii) Explain key terminology related to neonatal seizures and their clinical significance. 2. Recognize the Role of EEG in Neonatal Seizures i) Explore the application of Electroencephalography (EEG) in diagnosing and monitoring neonatal seizures. 3. Identify Clinical Manifestations of Neonatal Seizures i) Understand the unique clinical features of neonatal seizures and how to recognize and describe them accurately. 4. Apply New ILAE Treatment Guidelines i) Familiarize participants with the updated International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) treatment guidelines for neonatal seizures. 5. Integrate Diagnostic and Treatment Practices i) Combine knowledge of EEG, clinical features, and treatment guidelines to improve the management of neonatal seizures.
