Course overview

Anaphylactic reactions can occur quickly, without warning, and have deadly results. You need a thorough knowledge of the physiological changes that occur during anaphylactic reactions and how to identify these changes. For clues to a patients emergency, obtain an accurate patient history and complete a thorough patient assessment. You are providing the first line of care for patients. By having complete knowledge of anaphylaxis and being proficient in the skills required to treat it, you can reduce the pain and suffering of the patients.
