This course explores the powerful and purposeful concept of Person Centered Program Planning, a critical approach for residential care providers committed to creating meaningful, individualized experiences for those they serve. Designed for operators of small residential homes typically 1 to 20 beds licensed for Adult Foster Care or similar services, this self-study course emphasizes the importance of shaping care around the unique needs, preferences, and life histories of each resident. Rather than relying on a one-size fits all or landlord-tenant mindset, this training helps providers cultivate the insight, compassion, and awareness necessary to support each individual in a holistic way including sensitive personal matters that can influence well being and quality of life.
